Develop Every Part of Your Game

The programme is designed for junior golfers who want to improve in a supportive international setting, from students learning the fundamentals to more experienced players refining their technique.

Coaching covers the full game, including driving, approach play, chipping, bunker shots, putting, course management and golf etiquette.

Structured practice and coach feedback help students understand their strengths, identify areas to improve and apply new techniques with greater confidence.

Golf Coaching & Curriculum

Long Game

Develop a more consistent swing, improve driving and approach play, and learn how technique affects distance and accuracy.

Short Game

Practise chipping, bunker play and putting to improve control, touch and scoring around the green.

Course Skills

Build confidence in course management, club selection, etiquette, sportsmanship and decision-making.

Activities & Excursions

Evening Activities

Join team challenges, sports, games and social events with students from around the world.

UK Excursions

Trips may include Central London, Cambridge and other cultural or historic destinations.

Overnight Experience

Selected stays may include a supervised overnight experience such as Warwick Castle.

English Lessons

Alongside golf, students receive 15 hours of English tuition each week from experienced TEFL-qualified teachers.

Lessons focus on practical communication, speaking confidence, listening, reading and writing, with English reinforced through activities and daily interaction with international students.

Accommodation, Safety & Welfare

Students stay at The Oratory School in secure residential accommodation with full-board meals and a structured timetable balancing lessons, coaching, activities and rest.

Experienced residential and pastoral staff provide 24-hour supervision, supported by a 1:6 staff-to-student ratio.

Do students need to bring their own clubs?

Essential golf equipment can be provided. Students may bring their own clubs if preferred, subject to the final equipment and travel guidance.

What skill level is required?

The programme is designed for different ability levels, from beginners to more experienced junior golfers. Students should be grouped appropriately for coaching.

How many hours of golf coaching are included?

The current programme information states 12 hours of specialist golf coaching each week.

Are golf lessons combined with English classes?

Students follow a structured timetable combining golf coaching with 15 hours of English tuition each week.

Who delivers the coaching?

The programme is promoted as being led by PGA-accredited professionals. Final coach credentials should be confirmed for the 2026 intake.
