This hands-on programme is designed for students who enjoy technology, creativity and problem-solving. Through guided projects, students learn to design, build and programme robots while exploring coding logic, automation and digital innovation.
Using interactive kits such as Edison robots and LEGO-based engineering challenges, students experiment with real-world STEM concepts and turn ideas into working creations. Creative projects may also include stop-motion and clay animation.
No previous coding experience is required. Activities can be adapted for beginners and students who already have an interest in robotics or programming.
Explore Python fundamentals, coding logic, problem-solving and introductory software or app development.
Programme robots to respond to inputs, follow routes and complete challenges, then build mechanical creations using robotics kits and LEGO components.
Combine technology and imagination through animation, digital projects, invention and collaborative presentations. English is used throughout workshops, project discussions, presentations and teamwork, helping students develop communication skills in a practical international setting.
Develop coding logic, Python fundamentals and practical robotics engineering skills.
Apply creative problem-solving to design, build, test and improve original projects.
Build confidence through teamwork, English communication and presenting ideas.
Robotics and coding sessions are balanced with sports, social activities and cultural trips, giving students time to relax, practise English and build friendships.
Sports, swimming, creative sessions and team challenges within the boarding school environment.
Programme excursions may include Cambridge, Central London and a supervised overnight experience.
